Raiser’s Edge Database Manager – Posted 3/25/18

The Database Manager plays a key role in the organization’s fund raising efforts. In this role, the successful candidate will oversee the overall management and maintenance of Raiser’s Edge donor database, coordinate the development and production of development mailings, have hands-on involvement with our donor cultivation and events, and provide support to the social media development, marketing and other fundraising efforts as a member of the team.

REQUIREMENTS: College degree is preferred. 3+ years experience in data management and fundraising; fluency with Raiser’s Edge and Microsoft Work/Excel. Knowledge/exposure to marketing and branding, content development and events planning a plus. Excellent organization, problem solving, oral/written communications and creative thinking skills.

  • Manage Raiser’s Edge database, maximizing its full potential. Responsibilities include creating and updating constituent records, gift tracking, pledge acknowledgements and donor activities.
  • Generate all analytical reports and mailing/donor recognition lists.
  • Conduct database analysis and queries and brings creativity to the use of the database to further donor base activities.
  • Maintain data base entry standards and enforce database integrity and quality control.
  • Manage all direct mail logistics regarding donor cultivation events and appeals including generate mailing lists; assist with marketing of events, coordinate with vendors on invitations and other print materials; interface with host sites on logistics; oversee event registration; write and send acknowledgement; generate final reports.
